The Sturbridge Farmers Market was created to provide a cooperative community for small scale local agricultural and artisan products, striving to enrich the quality of life in our area by providing a healthy community activity that promotes wellness in a wholesome, social gathering place. 

OUR MISSION

The Sturbridge Farmers Market endeavors to contribute to and encourage the success of local food growers and artisans, strengthen our food economy with high quality, safe food, and serve as a community gathering place where local farmers and entrepreneurs can sell directly to the consumer. Our goals are to improve opportunities for all in our community by promoting and encouraging local economic development as well as social and community building through educational and family-friendly activities.  By facilitating such commerce, the market strives to meet the needs of the local consumer while encouraging sustainable agriculture in New England.
